ConvergeOne Names John McKenna as CEO and Chairman
Eagan, MN, August 18, 2008 — ConvergeOne, LLC, a leading provider of end-to-end communications solutions, data solutions, and services to enterprise and mid-market customers is pleased to announce the appointment of John McKenna, Jr., to serve as the company’s Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, effective August 18, 2008.

Throughout his impressive career, Mr. McKenna has played a key role in building and motivating organizations to achieve aggressive growth objectives. Mr. McKenna joins ConvergeOne after more than eight years as CEO of Siemens IT Solutions and Services, Inc. At Siemens he was responsible for the company’s strategic direction, operational excellence, and was a member of the company’s North American Management Board.
From 1993 to 2000, Mr. McKenna was CEO of ENTEX Information Services. At ENTEX he directed a major corporate restructure to transition the company to a services-only organization. This restructure resulted in the acquisition of ENTEX by Siemens in April 2000. Under McKenna’s leadership ENTEX reported service revenues of roughly $500 million annually.
From 1989 to 1993, Mr. McKenna served in various capacities at JWP, Inc., most recently as Senior Executive Vice President of JWP Information Services. He played an integral role in leading a management buyout of JWP’s domestic information services division in 1993. This strategically resulted in the creation of ENTEX Information Services.
Prior to joining JWP, Mr. McKenna served as Vice President of Operations at Fisher Macleod Associates, a New York-based real estate development firm. After graduating from Trinity College (Hartford), he began his career as a sales trainee at IBM Corporation. In his nine years at IBM Corporation McKenna rose through the organization to oversee one of the largest branch operations in New York City.
