ConvergeOne Expands Services with Acquisition of Combest
Eagan, MN, March 6, 2006 - ConvergeOne, LLC, has acquired Combest, Inc., a leading provider in design, deployment, and management of telephony, data networking, and convergence solutions. The announcement was made on February 1, 2006 by John Stuart, Chairman and CEO of ConvergeOne.
“Combest’s expertise and its array of communication support services make this a particularly exciting investment for ConvergeOne,” according to Stuart. “Bringing Combest on board will enable us to offer customers a broader selection of services and options.”
Combest (combest.com), which is a certified dealer of Avaya, Cisco, and Mitel products is projecting more than $26 million in revenue for fiscal year 2006. Combest will continue under the leadership of its current President and CEO, Richard Pusbach.
“Becoming part of ConvergeOne will allow Combest to reach out to more customers and give us opportunities to deliver our brand of excellence to a broader market,” said Pusbach. The company is headquartered in Norcross, GA, and has additional office s in Pompano Beach, FL, and Pittsburg, PA.
The acquisition of Combest by ConvergeOne comes in partnership with Combest management and Nautic Partners, LLC (nauticpartners.com), a private equity firm specializing in the business services, healthcare, manufacturing, media, and communications industries. Headquartered in Providence, RI, Nautic has grown capital under management from $20 million to approximately $1.8 billion since its inception in 1986.
